Start by scheduling an initial call, which is usually available within the week. It's a 30 to 45 minute video call with one of Lamont's design consultants.

On that call, the design consultant gets to know you and your goals and answers your first questions. From there, the process typically follows these steps:

1. Home visit: Lamont's team visits your home to see the space.
2. Concept: Lamont Bros. presents a concept with visuals and a ballpark cost.
3. Design: you sign a design retainer, and Lamont's design team fully designs the space, including 3D renderings and floor plans.
4. Contract: Lamont Bros. presents a fixed-price construction contract.
5. Construction: one superintendent runs your project from start to finish.

The design phase can take a month to several months, depending on the project.
