This Portland kitchen remodel reimagines the layout to eliminate a major traffic bottleneck, creating a more open flow between the kitchen and surrounding spaces while expanding the footprint for improved function and scale.

Thoughtful upgrades—including integrated appliances, a hidden beverage station, and custom storage solutions—combine with bold design elements to deliver a space that’s both visually striking and perfectly suited for everyday living and entertaining.

Project Goals

We wanted to eliminate the traffic choke point caused by multiple doors converging at the garage, basement, pantry, and kitchen entry
Doing so created better flow between the kitchen and adjacent spaces
We enlarged the kitchen's footprint to better match the home's scale and improve functionality
Upgrade appliances and cabinetry enhance both performance and aesthetics
Ultimately, the goal was to design a space better suited for entertaining and daily use
