Project Goals

  • We wanted to eliminate the traffic choke point caused by multiple doors converging at the garage, basement, pantry, and kitchen entry
  • Doing so created better flow between the kitchen and adjacent spaces
  • We enlarged the kitchen's footprint to better match the home's scale and improve functionality
  • Upgrade appliances and cabinetry enhance both performance and aesthetics
  • Ultimately, the goal was to design a space better suited for entertaining and daily use

  • Resized the sliding glass door allowed us to expand the kitchen and maintaining natural light
