Teak Soaking Tub Bathroom

We designed this beautiful Portland bathroom around an imported teak soaking tub. Textural elements used throughout the space include minimal, large-format tile, and leathered Dekton countertops.

Project Goals

We updated this bathroom around the imported teak soaking tub centerpiece. This tub was cleverly installed as an accessory fixture with an inset drain under the curb of the shower for a clean, minimalist look.

Some of the other design elements we brought into this remodel include cedar planks on the ceiling, grain-matched teak cabinets, and marmoleum flooring that fit beautifully into the color palette of the space.

Because our clients were focused on sustainability, we carried forward some of the existing elements of the bathroom to cut down on waste. The large vanity mirror and original push-button light switches fit naturally into this remodeled space.
