Project Goals
By removing the back hallway and the separate dining area, we created a spacious kitchen with room for more than one cook to work at once. The redesign folded extra storage into a cozy dining nook, so the space gained function without losing its sense of style. The visual change is just as dramatic.
We took out the heavy wooden beams and dated flooring, then brightened the whole great room with fresh paint and new floors throughout. The result is one connected living space that works as well for a quiet weeknight as it does for hosting a crowd.

- Two-tone cabinetry pairs Fabuwood Allure cabinets in a light Linen finish with a warmer Amaretto wood-tone island and custom wood panels, creating a sophisticated focal point.
- A Caesarstone quartz island in the Taj Royale color anchors the room with a bold, veined pattern, set against Organic White quartz on the perimeter counters.
- A vibrant Royal Blue subway tile backsplash from Cepac brings color and personality to the space while keeping the overall look balanced.
- Matte chrome Richelieu cabinet pulls and a five-light linear bronze island pendant tie the finishes together with clean, modern hardware.
- Wide-plank Evoke luxury vinyl flooring in Spark Acacia runs throughout, unifying the kitchen, great room, and adjacent areas.
